In 2017 we saw an uptake in the embedded technology sector, as we have had the pleasure of working alongside our customers and partners across 4 continents in over a dozen countries. This industry view is supported by IDC who has estimated that the spending on technologies such as IoT, AI, robotics, and virtual reality will see growth of 17 percent in 2017.
And the growth will only continue to accelerate over the next five years!
Naturally robust and dependable short range wireless is a high priority in many of these developments.
Throughout 2017 we added extra security features, qualified Bluetooth® V4.2, and developed device to cloud connectivity complete with MQTT, CoAP and IFTTT functionality. Also, in a major upgrade to our award winning Clarinox ClariFi™ debugger, we introduced Lua scripting to enable interacting with the target without the need for re– compilation. Clarinox supports a large range of targets from ARM to RISC–V (and many in between).
Into 2018 Clarinox will continue to be a solid supplier for embedded Bluetooth and Wi-Fi® protocol stack software. The coming year will see the qualification of our Bluetooth V5.0 stack, the release of our Bluetooth MESH networking capability, and further innovation to the simultaneous Bluetooth and Wi-Fi protocol sniffing and full analyzer capabilities of the Clarinox debugger.
The technology revolution is strengthening and the Clarinox capability and passion positions us as an ideal partner for your next Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi developments, whether on an RTOS (from Autosar to Wind River) or Linux or Microsoft embedded platforms – same stacks, same APIs – across all 16 supported target platforms.
Clarinox. Not just stack software, but a great partner for the entire product lifecycle with strong middleware, debugger and expertise!
We wish that 2018 brings you good fortune and look forward to contribute to your success!
Warm regards,
The Clarinox Team

It’s time again for the global embedded industry to gather at the Santa Clara Convention Center for this annual event. This year, Serdar Sayar, Clarinox Executive Vice President EMEA, will make observations on the current state of technology against the backdrop of both historical fact and historical fiction. This will provide a context from which Serdar will discuss the challenges faced by the embedded community tasked with the creation of "the ideal, out of box experience" with the current reality of ever growing complexity of usage scenarios and a plethora of competing standards.

For many of the vertical markets that fall under the umbrella of IoT / IIoT the inclusion of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth into embedded device developments is almost mandatory. The question is no longer whether to include these technologies; but rather to what extent and how many features to include to differentiate from others in the product category.
With connectivity comes the requirement for security and “Securely Connecting the Embedded World” is the theme of Embedded World 2017. This is indeed one of the major current challenges when building embedded “Things”. The keynote presentation will discuss the move from clear and present danger into the era of robust security.
Clarinox has the most robust, secure and comprehensive protocol stack software for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy. We have an elite group of subject matter experts to augment our products to give our customers a clear and seamless path to a secure and connected internet of things.
Come and see the world’s smallest Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Low Energy/Bluetooth gateway reference design connecting a range of sensors via the Clarinox gateway to Amazon Web Services. Our demonstrations show how to take your concept to a secure connected product. Please feel free to use our e-code B344631 to obtain your Embedded World Entry Pass.
